Conversations with the Father: Forgiveness

Arghhh! I just couldn't bear this anymore. I hurriedly left the room, so I could control my emotions and went to where I loved to talk to God loudly. Ranting at the top of my voice, I told my Father everything! How could she? Why does she say annoying things about me? My Father waited till I had completely said everything I had to say, then He said, 'But you know you still have to forgive her, right?' I began to cry because I knew I had no other choice, no other nature. He continued, 'You know you still have to love her regardless of what she does'. I cried and 'crode' 😭.

Truthfully when you walk with God and yield to the Holy Spirit, you begin to put the flesh to death. These days I quickly forget that people hurt me and start laughing with them before I even realise, I also forgive people even before they hurt me because I have made up my mind to love them regardless of their actions -  like the Father loves me.

I remember how hard this was for me as a child, and how I struggled to be better through my works, but I just couldn't do it. LOL, then, I'd say to myself that I 'may' forgive but you see that forget part, it cannot happen with me. When the Holy Spirit starts His work, my dear you'd forget 😂. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, expression of the fruits of the Spirit no longer feel like an impossibility, I have realised that I have the nature of God, I walk consciously in this reality. So as He is, so am I in this world! Gloorayyy!!!!💃🏽

PS:

• Unforgiveness is too much of a debt to hold against anyone, because the Father has forgiven us.
• You can't win the battle with the flesh by yourself, focus on yielding to the Holy Spirit.
